This is a knife I am making for my neighbour. (but he doesn't know yet)

I wanted to make it personal for him.
Sketched a bit and made a little 1/16" chisel from a left over bit and just jumped in!
(I did practice a bit on an other block first)

It was a lot work but I'm not umhappy with the result.
What do you guys think it?

Very nice!

One thing that you may want to look at on future knives is the handle-ricasso junction. If you look at the photo, you will notice three different angles all meeting together (guard face, plunge, choil). There seems to be a disconnect in these differences. This is certainly not a major problem, and may look better in real life than in the photo. One suggestion might be to try a sketch with the plunge and guard angled together.....just a thought.

That's a beautiful knife, but it seems to have a small hole in the middle of the handle???

Wish I was your friend, I must say!

I agree with Stacy on the angles. Regardless, I really like this knife. I think this is the nicest one I have seen you post yet!

He'll be v'klempt when you lay this on him.

Lovely work

Hengelo, I kind of knew it was a hole for a Pin, at least that's what I was guessing. And BTW, the angles at the ricasso/handle area aren't typical, but I think they add a cool look to your knife.

It's a little chisel I made I used that to cut out the HF. I removed the background with a gouge then textured it with a hammer and nails with rounded tips
