Finger Nail advice?

Phillip, you're doing it wrong.

I know, I totally missed the fingernail on that one finger.

What happened was, I was flattening a wooden block on the disc grinder, and it got caught by the "up" side, and both hands and the block got taken for a ride. Lost a bunch of skin on my index finger, but thankfully it didn't go all the way through the nail on my thumb. That would really hurt.

Shit. I had to make a post on it. I accidentally got two fingernails tonight.
Knocked them down to the nail bed.
