I thought I would offer this one to someone who wants to finish the grinding, fitting, etc. on a hawk.forged from a new 24 oz.. ball pein...I have done the hardest part forging profiling, quenched the edge, and the spike-sharpened the edge---it is rough,Ash or Hickory haft,I forget which--but this is what I start with before grinding,so if you don't mind doing the work,or it can be used as is---Specs--18" oal--9" edged to tip of spike---2 5/8" cutting edge-----$85.00 inc. postage and ins..
Paypal preferred to rsilver4@gmail.com

Youre right Stuie, and I will deliver to you heh heh--yep these are a hell of a lot harder to make than a wrap and weld style, and most of the work IS done, but I do a bunch of grinding though--

Butch, I wish my finished pieces looked that good. ........Randy[/QU

Hi thanks Randy, everybody has their own style and would be a boring world without your's, mine and all the great makers on the forums, and the folks who appreciate our work and I am grateful for that--All the best Butch

Please make more! :)

What he ^ said. I'd finish the haft up a little and start choppin on somethin. Wouldn't feel all guiltyfied for abusing my nicer ones. Save them for Zombies and Democrats. Shoot, how much would you sell just the head for? Shoot me a price in a PM if you want to do something like that.

I like the unfinished look myself, except in the 3rd pic down, the metal around the eye looks very thin to me. (above the spike at the top) I'm thinking it could be the camera angle, but only Butch would know for sure. Butch, are my eyes playing tricks on me?

Thanks guys,I was just seeing if there was an interest, there was really too much work in these to sell at that price.I can finish the heads myself and do a lot better price wise, but you never know I might knock another out--Best Regards Butch

Hi,no there is plenty of material around the eye,I guess it might look thin from the pics, but there is enough for strength -Hope you are doing well-----Thanks
