I'm asking this question here sinced I believe there will be many more makers that will appreciate your reply.
Please. What procedure do you use to get that "colouring" - grey (?)- on your blades and bolsters? I can get a black by a long soak after etching in just water and baking soda, but am struggling at times to get what I believe would be a colour like you are. You are one of my favorite makers, Don, so any answer you give me will be good. Frank
