No point in working on Saturday, unless you can have some fun. Finished these two today, and thought I'd give the new light-box a trial.

Six inch, four-bar Damascus V.P.Fighter, Turkish Twist over Explosion.

Bark Mammoth Frame handle, fittings in Stainless and Damascus.

How're the Photos? No more waiting for that perfect sunny day.

Anyway, I'm havin' fun.

Knives and pics look real good John. The vest bowie is particularly appealing - love that multibar pattern.

Nice pics John.

The VP Bowie is gorgeous, right up my alley! I wish you could bring it to San Antonio...

Both very nice John.
I believe that stag even looks better in person.

Though very nice, the first screams for engraving IMO.

killer:cool::thumbup:

John I am really getting bored with looking at your perfect work. DO YOU EVER SCREW UP:D

All kidding aside your damascus is great and that last shot of the stag handle looks like candy  Buddy

P.S. please send me your light box plans and that little stag hunter:D

John,

Two more super knives and now you are going to also become a great photographer.

Nice.

Jim

Very nice work. Bowie is fabulous. Hunter is right up my alley. Boggy Bayou is turning out some real nice units. WD

Hey, thanks for the kind comments, guys.

I should have added that the lightbox was made from Coop's "$75 Lightbox" thread/plans over in the Makers forum. See, Jim covers the waterfront, real, professional photos, and help to the amateur!

(Hey, Paul, these'll be on their way Monday.)

Thanks for looking,

John

It will be great to see them first hand, John. That VP sure does look familiar!

As usual, they are both spectacular.

Both knives are exemplary. Me: I would prefer a flute on the bolster(s) of the first one and spare the engraving. That damascus spacer on the crazy stag is a perfect seasoning to this scrummy meal.

You're killin' me. The photos are crystal clear, and show proper highlights. You are paying close attention. I'm glad you are.

Thanks for the eye candy, John. Knives and photos just terrific, but the W2 hunter is off the charts.

Just occurred to me . . . when you take photos, do you still have the cowboy hat on? :D

I saw these photo's this weekend on my phone and couldn't wait to get back home to view them on my PC. The Fighter is classic John White perfection. The hunter is loaded with details that I love, like the raised buttcap that is just proud of the finial, hamon, and beautifully dyed stag. John, great job.

John very nice knives what I like the most is the edge wrap on the first one. That takes some mad skills to keep it that even nice job
