Finished another cordwrap today. Not the greatest pict, just used the scanner.

but a lovely wrap.
I took the liberty of lightening it a bit so the wrap can be seen by many to enjoy.

Yea the wrap is sealed with epoxy. It gets a hard grip that way. Check this one out http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=315633
I finished it and another this week too. The epoxy is still setting on the 3rd. Picts later today.

Good looking wrap. What "cord" do you use? I have used ito (expensive) and also athletic shoe strings...

The epoxy I have used is too shiny.

I have wrapped two sword handles and two knife handles. I am looking to do some more utility-type handles in the future.

I use a marine epoxy from west marine, the 105 epoxy and the 206 slow hardener. Just paint it on and leave it alone till tomorrow. Works great.
