Just got back from an evening fishing in the rain. Finished cleaning some of my toys and thought this made a good picture

Nothing like some well loved pieces receiving some good use!

I didn't know that thread existed. Is it a rule that you can start a general thread in general knife discussion? Lol if it is I didn't know about it. ☺

It's fine man, there's no rules on it. I was just suggesting it might fit nicely in there:)

There aren't enough people using it as intended and I feel like there's a perception that it's just my personal blogging space, but it's definitely open to everyone. Notice how this thread is only a few posts long? Thats what my general within a general thread is trying to eliminate. It gives people a place to talk about knife things that aren't quite worthy of long threads.

See but the problem is I can't suggest that a certain thread belongs there without implying that I think the topic is insignificant and unworthy of its own thread, so I've been trying to let people find it themselves. But I just thought I would throw it out there that it's always an option if you don't think a whole new thread is warranted.

There's something satisfying about coming home from a day outside in the weather, and cleaning up the toys from a good day of use. It's one of the simple pleasures I enjoy to this day.

Didn't you say it might fit nicely here?? Wasn't this a mover?

Uh oh, did I miss something?

No no I was just pointing out that next time he might want to use the thread I posted instead of starting his own. But it's entirely up to him if it belongs there or not since I can't tell him what is worthy of its own thread and what is not. It hasn't been moved to the thread I suggested, and I don't think it needs to be. It's fine where it is, I was just trying to encourage more future use of that thread.

I don't mind a thread dedicated to off the wall discussions if they get the attention they deserve. Lol. I am not sure I can move the thread. I like posting pictures and comments of things I have and do. Pride of ownership I guess.
