Here are some better pictures of the L6 Tomahawk that I finished a couple of days ago.

The beginning pictures are the chunk of L6 (it looks like a soup can to me) and the round stock piece of Noryl (it is a synthetic material) here's the link:

Crucible (as far as I know) only sells L6 in round stock. L6 is very different from the W1 I'm used to working with.

So anyway here's the link for the L6 Tomahawk:

With the first two pics I thought you were kidding. Very interesting design.

The beginning of the L6 slideshow is to show what the materials were when I first started the project.

The chunk of L6 and the piece of Noryl.

that is an interesting design. looks like the sharpened bottom edge would make a good draw knife.

That particular edge is meant to hook arms and legs at long intervals.

At shorter intervals the grip is choked up on for use like a knife.

In the slide show I am shown choking up on the handle to demonstrate this technique.

Thanks to all for looking!

Tinman,

Sorry that I took so long to reply. I have had some issues with Windows Vista and Dell....... I don't think I'll ever buy another PC; my next computer will probably be an Apple. Anyway.....

Well, at the moment I am in the middle of a W1 Tomahawk's construction and still have another W1 to construct also. So if you wanted one from me it would probably be this Fall 08.

After your next to last posting I didn't know if you "literally" would take one or or that was used as a figure of speech.
