Haven't had much time in the shop lately, its harvest time over here in OZ but got this one done slowly bit by bit.
Its one of my Gyuto style blades, 245mm in some Alabama damascus, Australian mellee burl brass fittings and a sunbeam mosaic centre pin.
About 60rc. I made it for myself as the steel had a bit of delamination so I couldn't use it on a customers knife, just used up some spare materials I had. Its actually only one of three knives I have kept for myself.
Also I have to say Alabama Damascus sent over two new billets for free, no questions asked to replace the delam one, so big ups to them can argue with service like that!
It has a very rough finish as you can see but its for myself and I was using it to test out a new grind. I'm a lefty so it has a left hand bias by flat/convex hybrid on the right hand side and a hollow/convex on the left. The hollow only runs up about and inch or so from the cutting edge, you can kind of see it in the first pic where the etch is darker. Anyway thanks for looking. Luke.

I'm a fan of big blades and this is a nice one. I have made a few large ones for myself as well. Its important to gift oneself. :)
