I got this one pretty much done, just some small clean up and a fellow BF member will have this in his hands.

Sweet! Your sheath work is outstanding too. i love the two pins in the front of the handle.

Took some more photos, I actually made up two knives, they are pretty much the same but one has Cocobolo Wood Scales and the other is "Cocobolo" Dymondwood scales... the BF Member is going to choose between the two.

Man, those look gorgeous, I love them. And your sheath work looks pretty good too.:thumbup:

I like the darker Cocobolo scales better.

Nice Ryan! Those are both looking exceptional:thumbup: You finished the wood very nicely. The new owner should be a happy guy for sure.

Great Knives! Love the blade shapes! Reminiscent of D.H. Russell knives, but with a better handle shape.

Thanks Johnny, Mike, that means a lot!

Thanks David, I had never heard of D.H. Russell I am guessing he is related to A.G. Russell... Interesting knives

I like the knives and the sheaths. They look very well done and have a unique style. The sheaths are great, and I might add that your photography is darn good also. I would, however, caution about putting pins too close to the outside edge of any handle material, it makes it easier for the handle material to crack. I am thinking specifically of the two at the front of the dymondwood scale. I always like to keep the pins about 1/4" away from the edge if possible. Just my opinion, and that knife could last several lifetimes with no problems.

Thanks for the compliments.

Matt, I really appreciate your input. I had to laugh because you gave me the same advice on a previous knife and look how well I listen! haha. I will be moving the pins back, and I have now named the front pins the "Bailey Pins" so I can remember! and Thanks about the photography, another hobby of mine!

Another Member here on BF contacted me about this knife, I finished up one that has a wider blade and handle than the previous knife posted. this one works for people with larger than average hands.

Steel: 3/16" 1080 (Kelly Cupples)
OAL: 9"
Width: 1.5" at widest point
Blade: 4.75" Tip to Scale
Handle: "Walnut" Dymondwood
Blade Finish: EDC "Matte"

I spent 3 days working on a better sheath for this model, the buyer wanted to carry it horizontally which I worry a little about due to its size. We put a snap closure and my "Z" Belt loop on the back, he is going to let me know how it performs. I think it turned out nice!
