Finishing 3 Bushcrafts this weekend. Here is 1

Thicker in the blade and thinner in the handle than I like but I really love the shape! Very well done blade.

I've never had a handle roll in my hand as long as the handle itself is "egg shaped" widest across the spine and then narrowing toward where your fingers go around.

The shape is really reminiscent of my Shings.

Nice work Brian. Its sweet! Did you take any pics looking down at the spine?

Very nice Brian! I am glad to see these in a good thickness and with thinner scales. I am with you in that mentality. Thick slabs make me feel like I'm carrying a screwdriver.

here are some spine shots...........

Brian, if you get a chance could you get some spine shots of the handle as well?
Those look very nice!

here is the only handle shot I had. Its rounded on the bottom and the top. Slight contour. If it were thicker handle material it would need more curves than this one. Hard to see but the slight curves can be felt much more than seen. I also smooth up the top and around the tang and leave the sides a tad rough for grippy feel. Sort of classy utilitarian with the liner:thumbdn:

you can see more layers are showing the green handled knife than in the black one.
