I am currently working on my first micarta handles and was hoping for some advice on finishing. I have heard of using super glue, hand sanding/polishing, buffing. I guess I am just looking for some advice from someone with more experience here. Anyone prefer a certain finish method?

No need or reason to super glue finish micarta. The stuff is impervious to just about anything. If it's linen or paper micarta, you can take the finish to a 400 or above grit sanding and then buff for shine. You won't be able to get canvas micarta to finish as slick, and I've had tan canvas micarta actually discolor a bit from trying to buff.
