So, I'm going to try my first stonewashed finish and am wondering how to finish the tang. I'm going to etch and stonewash and then put the handle on. Do I have to do removable handles? I would rather have permanent handles. I have only used corbeys and epoxy.

I'll be following this tread. If it were me I'd square up the sides after, on the grinder. Curious how thin did you take the edge.I love the stone wash look but hear you can't go thinner than .020.This would be a deal breaker for me

I'm interested in this one as well. I'm in the process of building a rotary tumbler.

I use a few spots of super glue, finish the handle, remove the scales, finish the blade then adhere with Gflex and insert pins.

Well I guess this is why you see most guys have either screwed on scales or a paracord wrap.
