Has anyone tried a superglue finish for this material? I am having trouble with this over the long run...I put this on a knife I made for my parents , has to have been 3 years ago now...the brass strands keep wanting to poke out no matter what I do...its at the point where I am not sure I want to use up what I have left of it If i cant solve this problem. So...wondering if the superglue finish could work, would it be worth the trouble? Or are there any other methods that hold up to continuous use ?

Not sure about thunderstorm kevlar but this is apparently a known problem with lightning strike carbon fibre. Over time all the copper strands (the lightning) will come out of the handle as it wears
