I checked out that Flosscard website--looks like you can get a free sample of one! That's a really nifty concept. Dental floss is incredibly strong for how thin it is and how little space it takes up. I use it for heavy-duty stitching sometimes when I don't care about something being pretty. :D
 
And when you add a little abrasive toothpaste, you can cut through chainlink fence and chicken wire. Perfect for E&E.

Google it, it's been done. A lot of people thought the guys escaped by cutting steel bars with it, but that's not what they did. They cut through chainlink fence with it.
 
This IS a need little kit. +1 on the dental floss. I got one of those Flosscards from a local dentist last year and keep it in my EDC bag. I just picked up a regular generic pack of waxed floss for my emergency/BOB kit too.
