KSF now has 40, no make that 39 (just ordered one! ;)) R.A.T. Fire Kits in stock. I had tried last week - glad to see them available again. After reading the previous accounts - I can't wait to get mine and play (....in an adult, responsible sort of way of course :o) with it. The small fire rod that comes with the Izula Kit will actually work (one quick successful test), but I wouldn't feel completely comfortable having to depend on it.
 
You should just be thankful they don't come in multiple favors (..tan, OD, black, silver, PINK, ......) :eek:
 
They are like the model T only green. You can have it in any color you want as long as it is green. :)

Just a heads up--I can't remember if it has been announced here yet--but the pricing on these is going up. Jeff moved production of them to Rowen (the quality we are used to and more predictable availability) so the next batch is going up.

What are you doing, eating these things for breakfast :confused: - three fire kits? Hopefully, it's because you are so happy and not that they wore out! Guess a person needs one for each pocket, bag, and vehicle and..well I understand now.

I am going to get one soon, no matter the price. RAT quality is always worth it :)
 
I just opened a UPS package from Lisa @ T.W.O.:cool: My 1st RAT firekit, SWEET:thumbup: Thanks for the great service Lisa, and I appreciate the compass as well. This kit will be going in my RC5 pouch. I can see how a fella would want a few of these lil buggers in his different bags, kits & gear.

Out of curiosity does anyone know how many uses you can get from one of these??
 
I just got one in the other day from the guys at EMGear (bought some Maxpedition pouches, since I moved to MOLLE gear, my old ALICE stuff doesn't work quite as well), I'm definitely going to get more.

I'm wanting to put together a good E&E kit, so I'll probably order a RAT E&E kit, another firekit and an Izula kit. Seems like a great start.

Oh, and for the guys who don't own a fire kit -- it kicks butt, get one!
 
I agree the RAT Fire kit is Great :thumbup:.....if you own a RC knife you should have atleast one RC fire kit :D... at bare minimum ;).....
 
One per pack,B.O.B., PSK, per family member...the list goes on and on...I guess everyone should own many RC Fire Kit(s) ! :D
