Hello to all my fellow Infi Brothers, as I write this post a
huge fire looms somewhat close to my townhouse complex and I am
contemplating an evacuation. I'll try and salvage what I can if
need be but I don't know right now, the wall of fire is about two
miles from my townhouse complex and the thirty mile an hour
winds are keeping it somewhat stable but that could change
at any moment!! I'll keep you guys updated but hopefully the
wind will push it away from my complex!!! Wish me luck my brothers!!
Thanx
Jaime

Man! Hope everything works out. I'm sure you have, but get your important papers, guns and infi together for a quick evac if need be. Not sure if I would load it up yet as I'll bet there are enterprising thieves/looters around, but you would be more aware of that situation than I.

Good luck, but if that wind shifts you will have almost no time to do the bug out boogie.

Good luck and be safe.

I might need a bit of luck myself as i'm going to training down in irvine which i'm told is fairly close to where the fires are. I'm going to check up on the news and get a better idea. I don't want to get caught up in some mass exodus going in the opposite direction, hehe.

Good luck guys. I'd second Wet's recommendation to get your sh!t in a pile... so to speak.

Wildfires are a part of life up here so I know how unnerving this can all be. Take care.

:( Hey Bravado,

I was kinda worried last night when I was driving home and saw fire on the hillsides. Has been a long time since that happened. Hope you are far enough away from the fire that you won't have to evac.
I watered down around the residence this morning just for peace of mind.

Wish you the best of luck and prayers,
hdwrlover

Thanks Guys! I'm still watching it and keeping my fingers
crossed but it could change any minute!!

Holy Cow!!!! This is definitely a time for CBL ! ! ! ! ! !

I know you can't drink right now because you need to get prepared, but know this, I will be getting hammered on your behalf until this thing dies down. . . . How's that for support my friend?

Seriously though, stay safe!

Jerry

OMG!!! Get the Off Duty to safety to hell with everything else!!! (wait a sec..that wasn't a brotherly thing to say. erase...erase...erase)

OMG!!! Get yourself to safety to hell with everything else!!!

Bravado,

I know what you are going through, I hope everything turns out OK for you. We too live under constant threat every summer of fires. In fact we nearly evacuated last summer at one stage. Our fire season is close to coming on us again this year. We have bush right up to the house paddock.
Keep safe mate, I hope it turns out OK. Those bush fire boy’s can really work miracles.
Ian.

I was just looking for somewhere to find up to date news about it, but came up dry. Hope it steers clear of you!

Good luck, be safe, and keep in mind that no property (even a home) is worth putting yourself in jeopardy over.

Stay safe Bravado! I hear that 10 people lost their lives so far. It's been snowing ashes around LA toady. It burns the eyes just being outdoors.

Jaime, hope you got everything safe. It's been pouring ashes into my neighborhood. The smell and burn of the smoke was so bad you don't need a cigarette. Bad stuff for sure, I hope everyone around the fire areas has some sort of backup plan cause it doesn't look too pretty.:(

You mean with all of those Busse's that you have you still have trees and scrubs around your house?

Someone has not been abuseing their INFI !

Like Eric said.."Get you and your's out, every thing else can be replaced"

PS...Don't forget your little Pet buddies in the rush.

Good Luck.
