Fire Steel Sources and Size Prefs?

That is the Ultimate Survival Blastmatch. I have one. If you have a firm surface where you can put it right on top of your tinder, it works very well. It is a ferrocerium rod, not magnesium.

I bought a fire piston a few months ago, and i like it very much, it takes some practice to work, but i think if my butt was on the line i would stick with matches or a ferro rod at least until i could get the fire piston to work 100% of the time and i'an not there yet. I got it mostly as a back up for my other back up's. plus i like toys http://www.firepistons.com/ P.S. MY BROTHER BOUGHT ONE A YEAR OR SO AGO AND HE GETS TINDER FUNGUS BURNING EVERY TIME.
