Fire Warden sale.

It sucks that at times you see knives on sale for more than the original cost, but it is the only way some folks can even get near a Busse knife. I wish there was a better way for the begginer. Hows that saying go? "don't hate the player, hate the game" I have bought from members in here and I have purchased on eBay. Both went well and I am glad I did it. Now I have some more experience with all three, (Busse Combat/Swamp Rat/ & Scapper) and I have figured out how to get what I want or at least how to stay on top of what is going on regarding whats on sale By using these theads & post as well as constantly visiting the websites. I believe it is just human nature to turnaround sell that which you can. I have sold knives I own, all with no reserve auctions. Some did well and some did not. I have never jacked up a price but that is me. Supply and demand is a funny thing and if the Busse's built enough knives that they always had plenty of stock at all times, then they would be just another quality knife company such as Spyderco or Tops or Benchmade. But they are who they are and build as they do and that is what gives there products the mystique that we all covet. It's up to the potential buyer to decide how much he or she is willing to pay for the item in question. It is not always about what the item is actually worth. Just my own personal thoughts, thats all....

I say we bombard the profiteering Azzhole with nasty emails until he chokes on the knife!!!!!! TAR AND FEATHERS!!!!!!:mad: :mad:
 
Saw that. I thought it was $219 for a second there and I was reaching for the buy button. Bout crapped myself when I realized that middle didget was a 9.
 
They originally sold for $237 + 14.95 shipping.
By the time Ebay gets there cut, paypal gets there cut, the guy might make 20 bucks........Someone said it in another post, "would do better with a paper route!"

2) Until people stop paying the inflated prices, nothing will change.

Seriously, we can't jump all over every azzwhole who does this. If you want to show this guy up, list one for price plus eFee... PICK your battles, y'know? feeBay is beyond our control, best suggestion is to try to tell potential buyers about BF.com to make a more informed buying decision. WHETHER you like it or not when "we" choose to be this close to Busse Combat, then we have an obligation to NOT make a bad impression on others that will REFELCT POORLY on Busse Combat. Granted we have no contractual obligations with BCS, but still if we ENJOY Jerry and Amy, and also Garth's company, we need to continue to give them reasons to mingle with us. Just a thought. Do what I do in the privacy of your home. FLIP OFF the seller, call him/her a bastid, then get on with more positive aspects of your day... Like playing with your INFI! Yes, it annoys me too, but... Illegitimi Non Carborundum. (Don't let the bastids grind you down.):D :thumbup:
