What does everyone carry in the way of firearms? Currently I EDC an M16, but back home, when not in uniform I carry a .357 2" Taurus 605 in the summer, and a Browning HP .40 in the winter with some open carry in the summer. When I get back, I'm thinking about trading in my Taurus .45 24/7 pro compact in for a Sig Sauer 226.

Walther P99 9mm

I carry a 1978 Colt Series 70, nickel plated 1911 pretty much everyday. In my backpack, resides a SA XD45. I'm currently looking into the Walther PK380 for my summer carry. I have carried J frame 38 for quite a bit as well.

Good post.

Don't do it Moosey. I have not had a chance to shoot one but the PK380 in my opinion is a piece of junk. Can't go wrong with a LCP or a Kel Tec for that matter if you want a light easy carrying 380. I love my P32, real accurate, controllable recoil, and small enough to carry and forget about it. To extrapolate about the PK380 I tried to break one down and it was a pain and getting it back together was more fun that taking it apart. And to beat all size wise you can get away with a Kel Tec PF9 and have a bit more pop in each shot. I mean I am a fan of Walther and all but they seemed to have dropped the ball on this one. I help a friend a lot in his gun shop and everyone wanted to see one then they took FOOORRREEVVEEERRR to get rid of after he got them in. He told me unless they were free he would not be getting any more in unless some one really wants to see one, and then he will try and talk them in to something else before ordering it.

Almost forgot, I carry either my P32, air weight 38, or glock 19 or 26.

I carry a Becker Knife & Tool BK2 why would I need a gun? ;) yea thats why I moved to Idaho, so I don't have to EDC a firearm. Now in the woods thats a different story. I have been looking at 45's and I'm thinking about a Springfeild Armory 1911.

Moose saw this one at the Gathering. I'm looking at the PF-9 now.

I carry a HK USP Compact 9mm at work. Been thinking about getting the SD-9 version for off-duty training/shooting.

Around the homestead I keep the AR15 on my back at all times. On the street, glock 34 OC'd.
