Hi Friends -

I posted in the whatever thread about a great gift that Mr. K made for me as a present to help celebrate my new business.

I have officially kicked off my business named Illinois Firearm Safety Academy LLC - or IFSA for short.

I have been and NRA and LE instructor and now I am in ISP CCT Instructor, allowing me to provide training to those folks who wish to excercise their Second Amendment RIGHT to carry a firearm.

John surprised me with this knife that I have dubbed the Firearm Instructors Companion, but John may call it something else when he goes into production with them, but I can say that it can be called one handly little blade!

Thanks John - I will cherish this blade, and show it off to my students as I use it to remove staples from targets and any other cutting needs.

Merry Christmas and Very Best Regards -

Congratulations! That's a nice knife. May you never have to dig out a stovepipe with it. May it always be used to remove staples and open up another case of ammunition!

Congratulations one your new business I hope you do well.

That's a very fine looking little blade there!

I need to get a hold of you, in that I'm in central Illinois. What is your new business' web site, or contact info.?

wish i were closer, I'd sign up!

knife looks very handy, decided I wanted one the minute i saw the picture!

Very nice!!! Congrats on the new venture. I hope you are successful both in business and in teaching people how to keep themselves alive.

Thanks everyone!

I don't want to appear to be soliciting for the business here, just telling my friends the good news.

A-ha! Been wondering what you've been up to! ;) very cool Andy. and very nice gesture John.

congrats on the new business and best of luck.

Glad you are happy with the knife, I figured starting your corporation was something to celebrate! It`s just something I "threw together" out of materials on hand, but I liked it so much that I saved a pattern.

Good luck with the new business venture Andy. If you put the same energy and creativity into it as you do with the weekly football reviews, you should do fine.

Very cool. I have my carry permit and so does my older son. Younger one will get his when he is 21. Big believer in the right to bear arms! Congrats and best of luck to you!

Thats a great gift. Congrats and good luck, Andy!

Congratulations on your new business venture, I think you picked a good one. Also, that's a nice knife to commemorate the start up from a good friend.

Funny, earlier today on another site I saw a guy had posted looking for shotgun training in the Chicago area. It was suggested to him to try a Google search. So, a website might help people find you easier. Along with that are you only doing handgun training or shotguns and long guns too?

From an article I saw earlier you could be busy, I think it was 4,500 people applied for IL carry permits since registration started Sunday. Do you know if they will have reciprocity with any other states permits?

I wish you much success in your business.
