Wowzer, I didn't even know that Matt Gregory was a knifemaker. I had always thought that he was a swashbuckling debonaire stand in for (a younger) Indiana Jones plus a stand up comedian / pro photographer! How does one go about buying one of his knives?!

I really wasn’t expecting this to turn like this. Guys, I suck. I’m like the anti-knifemaker. I don’t mean to slight anyone by not having stuff, it’s just that I make so few knives…

I never wanted this to be anything other than me making knives. If no one ever wanted another knife from me, I’d still be making them. It’s never been about money, or fulfilling demand, or really ANYTHING beyond me making what I felt I wanted to make. I’m going to leave it at this, because it wasn’t my intention to distract from Nate’s stuff.

I’ll try and reach out to a couple of you in the next few days and ‘splain myself.






Nate’s knife still totally looks like Dickey Moe, though.
