Made from Aldo's 1084 and 15n20. The steel is rough ground. Heat treatment instructions are available on my website or I can include a copy with your order upon request.

Shipping is $8 per order to the CONUS with $1 extra per bar to cover the extra insurance.

Normalization through Randy Dewey can be purchased for extra; $14 for 1 to 4 bars or $25 for 5 to 10 bars. He normalizes the bars in stainless steel foil and a Even Heat oven. If you choose his normalization I ship your bars to Randy and once he is finished he ships the bars directly to you.

Hi Dan, Chuck Fawcett here from Nova-Scotia Canada. I would like to make my grandson a knife with Damascus steel in it and have like the firestorm look. I don't know alot about the steel, I'm looking to make him a good hunting knife in the drop point fashion. The normalization is a heat treating process that is done to the steel is it not. Could you e-mail me at flys@eastlink.ca and recommend one of your fine bars, I was looking at number 2 or number 3 thanks again Chuck Fawcett.
