First 3

Paul: Very nice fit and finish. (I expected them to be a Little more Square) Now let us see one from the very begining. If you make one out of Hi-carbon I will heat treat it for you.

That's the ticket - grind yer own! You can see you got the hard part down, now it's time to make it yours. And don't forget to put your mark on it, either! Too many people leave that off their first knives. As one of the stamp makers says, "If it's good enough to make, it's good enough to mark." Or something like that. :D Good job! Thanks for sharing, let's see the rest.

Thank you guys,

Those are the only ones that are finished, finally. I fussed and labored over those heart daggers forever, the black one is on it's third set of scales. I have a couple more knives in the works.

IG,
I have salvaged a good part of the cable damascus blade I/we made last spring at the Hammerin (the bad weld wasn't as bad as I thought), so I'll be taking you up on your offer, maybe by the next hammerin. I got one of those DDR II kits and that has my attention right now.

I'm working on getting consistant with the fit and finish before I risk too much on High dollar material. I have another blade like the one used for the large athame and some black/green marble so there will be a sister to #1. The lady who ordered the Heart daggers is very happy and some of her friends have asked about what I can do.

Thanks again
