First Aid Kit Help

Dont forget a proper tick-remover.

You can remove ticks with Vaseline. Since ticks breathe through their back you can put a dab of Vaseline on them and in a few minutes they fall off. Using the Vaseline you also don't have to worry about leaving the head in there. Vaseline also has many other uses so should definitely be a part of any kit, first aid or not.

The quick clot may not get deep into a wound but celox makes these syringe type things filled with celox so you can stick it in a wound press the plunger and fill a deep wound with the powder. Also quick clot makes a pone which is basically gauze impregnated with clotting agent, they work pretty good I've seen one used after a serious climbing accident

Surgicel Hemostatic bandage. Better than quick clot. You may have to remove it periodically to prevent a big hematoma from developing. Antiseptic ointments of course.
