Hi,
Campmor also carries it's "own" medical kits which are made by "the big guys" but sell for less.
Also they have at the moment discounts on medical kits that use the "older" model carying cases, I think model 1997 but filled with current stuff for substancially less, go click on:
http://www.campmor.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/CategoryDisplay?cgrfnbr=81927&cgmenbr=226

To see them.

Good luck, hope you never need the kit,

Marion,

I have seen a few large ones that have a whole smorgasboard of stuff, some of which I wouldn't use or wouldn't need. I would suggest you make up one of your own. Use the commercial kits for examples and consider where are you going and how quickly can you get out? If you are going into the deep woods with no help in sight then take more. If you can patch and go then let that dictate your kit slightly more. Also remember that there is Yarrow, Plantain and Aspen in the area to help you medically. Take care.

Eye; you may do well to realize that first aid kits aren't like food. You can't do a simple x number of people for y days calculation. There are a lot of unknowns; you will probably use bandaids the most, but one time you may need everything you have got. Walt
