First and latest knive

I thought it would be a good thread to post my first and latest knife and hopefully other makers will do the same. I think it would be neat just to see where everyone started.

Nice knives. My first doesn't look that good and neither does my latest. When I'm done with the latest I'll post a picture of it.
 
I hotblue the majority of my blades now. not a lot of makers do that. So it is something different. I really like how the blades come out. It is really inexpensive to setup a home hotbluing setup. I might post my $75.00 Bluing setup.

Blued blades are looking better and better to me. Yours looks nice and dark.

also, you might want to check your homepage link in your profile. there is a comma at the end that causing the link to fail.
 
Hurley, please do a tutorial if you can, I would be VERY interested to see your $75 bluing setup. I have no idea of what processes are involved, I think you use chemicals, and salts, other than tht nothing.

I would be very interested in seeing pics of your Bluing set up as well as a write up as to how you made it... Hope to see it soon. Thx.
