While at scarborough faire, I got a request for a kris blade. I hope she likes it because I don't know if I want to make another one. lol. Almost impossible to finish with a sander, so most of the blade is filed and hand sanded. It was an interesting project and I learned alot.
Blade is forged 1050, brass bolsters, vulcanized spacer, and padauk scales.

Thanks for looking!

It looks very nice. I think if someone asked me to make a kris blade, I would run away screaming.

nice work.

Looks fantastic! Looks like it was a b***h to make. I started one like that...it didn't go so well. It's now in my scrap box (which gets more full every day!) Good job

I make those all the time. Just not on purpose! I eventually get them straight and looking like the hunter or bowie I was trying to make when I started.:p
