Hey guys and gals, gave fuzz sticks my first shot this AM. After about half an hour of grumbling and sweating I realized this has more to do with finesse than force.... duh:p The wood was VERY green as the branches were just trimmed away from my power lines this morning.(I'm sure that made it a heck of a lot easier) They were actually kinda fun to make... I could easily kill a few hours doing this!

Well, the knife I was using probably helped too... Nick, if you see this post, I love this knife even more than when I got it.

It's so comfortable in the hand and still scary sharp... nothing more than a quick touch up ever since the day UPS dropped it off at my house. I put it to work last night batoning through about a dozen 3"-4" diam. logs and it blazed through any knots in them as if they were hardly there.

Glad you like the knife! I really dig the looks of those.

I know what you mean about fuzz sticks, for something so simple they are darn fun to make! Easy to kill an afternoon trying to get some foot long curls. A fine exercise in knife control.

Fuzz sticks are tough. I end up cutting all the way through most of the time. Great knife too :)

Hi Kris nice job on the fuzz sticks. Kathy told me that another lady
posted on the thread she( Kathy ) started and thought that was so cool.
