I have heard it said that many of our great artists have found inspiration in opiates. I cannot condone that, but as I was recovering from a knee replacement, I did come up with some new ideas.

I have three knives for sale. They are a compact 7” making them a great EDC with a 3-1/2” blade of o-1 tool steel. The handles are jade g-10 over 1/8” transparent liners, with matching transparent 1/4” pin and a black 1/8” micarta pin. These are light weight little slicers.

The blue knife has 1/16” blade saber ground blade with a satin finish.

The red is a 1/8” blade with a mid line convex grind below a light forge scale finish.

The green has a 1/8” blade with a full saber grind and a satin finish. Sold

They are $100 each with a leather pouch sheath + shipping

I have 1 vertical sheath and two horizontal sheaths. Please specify which you want. They are first come first get.

I have for your buying pleasure one micro blade in 1/8” o-1 steel. The total length is 7” the blade is 3-1/4” with a midline convex grind below a light forge scale finish. The handle is 5/8” wide and is hand rubbed black walnut with a pencil thin hunter orange liner. The 5 pin pattern is made from 1/8” micarta pins. This knife is a feather weight little slicer, but the 1/8” blade is stiff enough to handle anything one should do with a 3-1/4” blade.

Sold+ shipping (includes a scout style leather pouch sheat

As many of you know, I have ben recovering from a knee replacement. Not being one to waste time, I worked in my sketch book to fill the hours between P.T. sessions. I now present the fruit of those labors - the “Huntsman”. With a total length of 9-3/4” it is big enough to do almost anything one needs, but small enough to be easily carried. The 5/32” o-1 blade is 4-3/4” long with a gentle drop point starting 3-3/4” from the tip and features a convex grind with a thin line of forge scale along the spine.

#1 has a handle of hand rubbed cocobolo over a 1/8” black micarta liner. The 3 pin pattern is made with 1/8” black micarta pins with a stainless steel lanyard tube. SOLD

#2 is butternut diamond wood with a 1/8” black canvas micarta liner and bolster. The 2 pins are black micarta (one blends in with the bolster and is very hard to see) in front of a stainless steel lanyard tube. SOLD

Each knife is $150 shipped anywhere in the continental US. Leather pouch sheath is $30.

I'm glad to see you are "back on the horse" as it were. Those first two in particular are calling to me.

I grabbed Dan's last knife before his surgery and I have been using it daily. It is extremely well built, beautiful and wicked sharp. Also besides being a great knife maker, he is also a great guy! I wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy from him.

Many successful people have been dyslexic.

General George S. Patton comes to mind.

I admire your perseverance.
