Hey BF,

I've been lurking for a long time learning as much as I can, but decided to post up and share what I've been doing as far as a new knife maker is concerned. I'm always looking to learn, improve on skills, and welcome any tips and critiques. I'll post up some pics:

Here you see some back from HT. I'm awaiting my etching stencils/system to arrive. These are going out to fellow Marines. They'll get blasted, Cerakoted, epoxied (West Marine) 550 handle wraps and I will also be making my own Kydex sheaths. I have 10 more of the same design, I just need to clean up the finger choils and they'll be ready for HT. I also have 3 prototypes that I drew up last week just to see how they felt.

This is what I was going for with these:
-9" chopper. Good for outdoor utility work.
-6" medium/light utility. I went for an angled pistol grip like handle. Feels great. Nice wide blade.
->6" and 3/4" wide handle. I'm going for a EDC/backup fixed blade here. Thumb ramp at the top for good purchase on finer work. Clip point design with a nice belly to do chopping/cutting/puncturing.

I haven't decided yet. I'm doing a mock up of both here soon. Leaning towards full for a little more 'handle'.
