Eh, thats what I did. Its not too bad if you don't mind wearing through a coat of skin on your thumb :).

However, I for sure will be using stripper next time I do it.

Hat's off man. It probably looks all pretty and polished too. I just don't have the patience. ADD really gets in the WANNA GO RIDE BIKES!
 
Yup I am sticking with stripper with my next knife. Much less labor intensive.

Yeah any time there is a stripper involved it should be doing all the work ;) ;) I feel your pain man, I started stripping my 14 by hand and eventually ended up sing an old worn out belt on my belt sander to finish it up.
