I used a AFCK (800S) for years on the job, followed by a 710HS for several more years, and owned a 806 for a short time.
The uses you describe sound similar to some of what I use a knife for at work, and the 710 is a much better knife for those things than the other choices.
This is not a close thing. The 710 is a much more aggressive cutter on some of the things listed, like thick cardboard, rope, heavy cloth, burlap. There is also a huge difference when cutting things like heavy rubber hoses, plastic straps--anything that resists penetration, and makes the edge want to skate along the surface, or grabs/binds the blade as it penetrates, will be better cut with a recurve.
The hole is way overrated for use with gloves, at least on a knife like the AFCK which does not have a hump to set the hole up and above the scales.
