My BK7 came today and I'm impressed! I'll have to do a side by side chop,split, whittle, and slice with my BK2,7 and 9 now. It balances very nicely, with more length and less weight than the BK2 and (maybe) enough length to crowd the BK9's performance. Yeah, it's not as thick as the BK2, but I seriously doubt there's much risk of breaking it unless I intentionally try to, and I'd probably tap out from exhaustion before getting there. I've got a safe queen Camillus BK7 that I've never played with it. This new BK7 is going to get lots of fresh air and beautiful scenery. BTW, it's got a stamped tang also.
