First BK2! What were your out of the box mods?

Do any of you EDC the BK2?

Kind of... I EDC mine in a patrol bag on the front seat of the patrol car, for bigger jobs, it's a bit to big to use to cut fingerprint tape etc.. Scare the public. But it's great for prying, cutting larger objects loaned to to fire dept a few times at accident scene.

I love your sheath mods warrior,,,, I may have to do a version very similar to one of my bk2's!! Great work!

Did you hollow out that tang or did it come from the factory that way?

That is my work. I used a Dremel chop blade and did a whole tutorial on it a year ago. I also gutted a my BK-10 / BKHB (Honey Badger). It changes the balance just enough to make the knife blade heavy and easier to chop with. I beat the snot out of it and it takes it.

Interesting. It would be a nice hollow to stash something.

I was wondering because I've taken the handles off my BK9HH and it did have two hollows, but nothing like that.

Looks like you almost made a Super Eskabar :D

My mod is very modest in comparison to most of these buys. Got some micarta, sanded and polished them and slapped them on. That's it so far. However, I did pick this one up recently that has some embellishments.

Started as this..
