I wish I had a better picture of it, but this is what I use to help my plunge lines. It's just two bars with bolts through the top and bottom. Clamp it on and LEAVE IT. If you take it off you'll never get it lined up exactly right again.

This is that same knife finished. Not perfect but far better than I was doing before.

i wait until 120 grit to start my plunges. you get more passes to monitor and change what your are doing. if i start them with 36 or 60, it is easier to take off too much with one pass and ruin them beyond repair![]()
