- First Blade Show Knife done....;-D

I was thinking about maybe just doing Black Canvas Micarta and that's it. Low cost, heavy-duty, can handle EDC tasks. And I would probably have the handles 3D milled.

Dan

Thats was my pick on the Bushcrafter I just got and the Bushmaster. Works for me. You thinking of doing the foldover kydex like you did for the proto knives?

I think either hollow or full flat work work just as well. I'd prefer to keep blade length at 3" for an EDC style though. Black canvas would rock although as I stated earlier blue/black G10 would be total sexay. Glad you're still carrying yours. I'd hate for that to be laying in a drawer. If you decide to do a small run for trial purposes I'd be in for one.

Heck yes, me too!!! I like your idea about the handles, too. Having them milled would speed production or at least ease it, no?

Yes, it would speed up production....but mostly I hope it would help reduce cost and....of course....look cool. :D

I really love the look of the wood. On the EDC pass around I really loved the feel of the wood one. But that said, I also have never bought a wood handled edc. I tend to be a rough on handles, and I think for my intended use, Mycarta is the way to go. Tan is my preference, then black.

Dan, post a pic of your EDC since you added the swedge.
