Wow - you sure got off to a great start - what a terrific-looking knife! I love the detail work on the pommell and clamshell guard. How about some details - blade steel, handle material, dimensions and such? Very nicely done.

Cheers,

Roger

That is a beautiful knife. I personally would prefer a longer blade, but for a small Bowie this one is exceptional. Wonderful carving on the pomel and guard and I really like the ferrule.

As Roger posted, please tell us more about this knife.

Roger,
OAL: 13 1/4"
Blade: 7 1/2" of 440c
Handle: walnut
Guard: mild steel heat colored
Spacers/trim: copper

Mark,

the bowie looks great. Nice use of color and the blade finish looks very nice.

I am just up the road from you. I live in Diana. Give a call if you want, (903)968-2029

It must just be the picture, but that blade doesn't look to be 7 1/2". It looks about the same length as the handle. Do you have any other pictures of this knife?

Very-Very Nicely done..he is a Beauty with very graceful lines..
Bet she isn't your first knife, just Bowie correct:D
Very Awesome,
Bruce

Excellent all the way around. As said earlier, the guard and pommel are fantastic. That has to be one of the most original guards I have seen. Gentleman's bowie or art knife? I would have to say she is clearly in the second category.
