First Bowie

This is my first attempt at a large bowie. I decided to go with damascus, brass,leather, and stag. It's my interpretation of a frontier period bowie, nothing to fancy.
The overall length is 15 1/2 inches, blade is just a little over 9 3/4 inches. The guard is soldered, and boat shaped. The crown Sambar stag is slightly curved and comfortable for either right or left hand use.

Alright Joe! Looking good! That stag looks like it would fit the hand perfect. I've got to see this one in person...

Thanks for the comments, I have to say it was trial an error making this one. That said I am pleased with the end result. I know there are some things that I could have done differently. Jack I don't plan on letting this go cheap, I can't. The damascus billet alone cost more than I usually sell my knives for.
