First BUSSE for life .

Glad you posted here Mario! I generally like blades smaller than larger. Especially the blade height (edge to spine). For that reason I prefer the BOSS Jack. I do like the Fusion Steel Heart very much but due to its blade height I consider it more of a small chopper

I have and use a Boss jack, SAR 6 and SFNO, for all around woods use i'd have to go with the SAR 6 or SFNO, the Boss jack is an aewsome blade but just not as well suited for all around woods use as the other two. Just my opinion after using all mentioned.

Don't have either (yet :D;) ) but I vote for the BJ (for ease of attainment) or the HHFSH (like the man said,"...one for life..." :D)!

I was in the same position as you a couple years ago. I was looking for an all-around do-it-all Busse blade and sought out advice from alot of the guys here on the forum. At the time, most people suggested the NMSFNO for my needs, so I bought one here on the forum. The blade was great! It did everything I wanted it to do, but it carried too heavy for me. More importantly however, it didn't totally connect with me. What I mean is that some knives (as well as other things) just have that cool appeal factor. After doing more research, I found that the SARsquatch was AWESOME looking and also fit my needs. I sold the NMSFNO and bought a SARsquatch and couldn't be happier. I guess my point is that you should also consider the "cool" factor when deciding on a knife.

Also, the Basic 6 would probably fit your needs too. Can't wait to get mine to check it out. Haven't decided if I'm going to keep it yet, but it sure does look "cool":)

I thought of the Basic 6 also. I'm sure some will come up for sale because I know a bunch of people bought more than one.

Also, Busse is going to be offering new models (Basic's ?) in the next few months so if you can wait for the lifetime knife you may be able to get a basic 7 or a basic 8 (I forget which they are going to offer) which is closer to the size you want.

thank you everybody so much for your super super fast answers and suggestions ! you awesome !!
I'll check all this mentioned busse knives one by one on google to keep a last decision.

The best think to do is to carry more than just one (small, medium, large) but i want just one with me.

Honestly I think that the boss jack is the best for my use....but... that looks good it's very important too , so I have to get a knife that looks good (for me) and meet my needs..i need some day to keep a decision.

I'll let you know..

more suggestions still very welcome....!
