First Case Knife: Which Should I Buy??

Peanut in Chestnut Bone i love mine!

Maybe the pen knife its sits on one spring so that its a little slimmer in the pocket.

I find the Pen much easier to use and the main blade significantly longer
And is very slim in the pocket

Can't go wrong with the CV peanut! But beware- those little guys are a slippery slope toward more small traditionals!

Those peanuts are great little knives - more cutting ability than their size would indicate.
My favorite pattern though is the medium stockman with the rounded bolsters. In CV they're around $40-50 depending on handle material.

The handles that have me hooked right now is the smooth chestnut bone. I'm crazy for the stuff!

Just a hint for when you get around to ordering your second Case knife. :)

Good choice on the peanut, I think you will be really happy with it. Look forward to pictures and a review :)

I'm late to the thread and I bring a lousy pic :) I'd suggest that you follow up the peanut with a copperhead jack. It's a tad short of 4" and a great EDC.

Why not a Buck 303 for that matter? Such toughness yet appealing and well-made.
