if you like the case gunboat canoe, and like a higher end steel, then the canal street cannitler is a good possibility. It has D2 steel, and it has the intricate design with three blades.

Thanks. The main reason I like the gunboat is the "swedge" spear-point blade. I just think it looks really attractive.

hmmm, well that brings up a few other possibilities from GEC, specifically the northfield brand (all 1095 steel), typically with cut swedges: #85 bullet end jack has a nice spear with swedge, #68, is a small pen knife, and the #79 montana workhorse whittler (very big 3 blader)

All of those look quite nice. I really like the '11 forum knife, wish I could've caught one in time.
 
I suggest a peanut or a Texas Jack if you're looking for a 2 bladed knife.
