I went to the local knife shop and saw a Sodbuster Jr CV, and I had to have it! I really like it, and for $24 it is a great value. I see a Trapper, Peanut, or Medium Stockman in my future, or maybe all three.;)

Nice! A,axes me you can get such a functional knofe for $24. I need to pick myself up one of those.

Looks great. I got one on order and can't wait for it to arrive!

Congratulations - they are a lot of knife for the money. Cut some apples with that blade and it will begin begin to develop a unique patina. OH

Congrats, Case makes many good "bang for the buck" pocket knives.

Congrats. This is a great hard-use pocket knife. My yellow Sodbuster Jr rides in the center console of my SUV. I really like yellow Delrin.

A Trapper, Stockman and Peanut will all complement one another perfectly :)

Get yourself a peanut next, then look at the 6318PU stockman. It is a 3 5/8" stockman with a punch instead of a spey, which is more practical for some.

Great knife you have there. I've had a few different sod buster knives and the yeller jr. just stands out. I'm not sure why, it just has a little something that the others don't have. It's just kind of special. I think the GEC Bullnose is an advancement of design on the Case, but the Case just has a little extra mojo.

Here's mine:

Nice. Just got one the other day to compare against my Opinels. I read a post where JackKnife said he'd take a Soddie over an Opie, so I figured it was worth the shot to try it out. Trying to get used to the weight of it, but I like it so far.

The Case is a great knife, Dale. Ya done good!

I was in a sodbuster stage for a while many years ago, and I think I tried them all. Case, Eye-Brand, Klass, even a few no names. The sodbuster is a grab pattern that's v try capable of some real world work. Of them all, I thought the most of the Case in CV. The GEC's came along after my sodbuster phase with the bull nose, but if I was in the market again for sodbuster, I'd give the bull nose a try in the 01. But the Case is no second string knife! Simple, rugged, and effective cutter. What more can you ask?

Plus it's a yella CV Case!

Man I've been agonizing over whether to get this one in the Yellow delrin or the Amber bone. I really love a punch on my knife and that pattern just speaks to me. What do you guys think of Case's Amber Bone? From pics I'm not in love, but I do like how natural materials age. I'm know I'd be happy with the Yeller too. ah decisions!

Dont have a Bullnose yet, have a farmer lock though, but I agree about the Yellow Sodbuster Jr's MOJO. My Girlfriend calls it Butter.

Really is a classic and classy knife.

There is just something about a CV Jr. in yellow...
