First Case!

Great first choice. Sure you'll enjoy it for years to come.

Man I've been agonizing over whether to get this one in the Yellow delrin or the Amber bone. I really love a punch on my knife and that pattern just speaks to me. What do you guys think of Case's Amber Bone? From pics I'm not in love, but I do like how natural materials age. I'm know I'd be happy with the Yeller too. ah decisions!

Dont have a Bullnose yet, have a farmer lock though, but I agree about the Yellow Sodbuster Jr's MOJO. My Girlfriend calls it Butter.

Here is an example of Case's Amber jigged bone. This is on a 6375 large stockman but is representative of all of Case's Amber jigged bone.

Does anyone here live out in the country or in an Agriculture area? If so, go to a feed and grain store, or any type of store that sells barbwire. Just a couple of years ago, I got a free Case Sod Buster with every 1000' roll of barbwire I bought. A lot of those stores run specials like that. It's worth checking out. A John Deere dealer just might have a special going so that, if you buy certain products, they will throw in a Case knife with the green John Deere covers for free. There's all kinds of possibilities out there. The Case Sod Buster makes a good promotional knife for these purposes.

I just received a Case Med Stockman 6318PU in Amber Bone. The bone looks better in person. The sheepfoot blade stood a little too proud for me so a little file work on the kick brought it down a bit. The edges of the blades were rolled over but a touch up with a DMT made them right.
Yellow or bone is a good choice. Can't go wrong with either. For everyday hard use, I'd buy the Yellow.

Thanks guys! I went ahead and ordered the amber bone 6318PU. It was only a couple bucks more than the Yellow and I dont have much bone in my collection.
