First Chinese Buck, First Stockman

I have a couple 371's and a 301. I've not noticed any difference in edge retention. Both see the strop maybe once every couple weeks of use. I have not had to use a stone on them yet.

That's good to know, I've never handled an offshore Buck. They actually have a much better selection of scale materials than the USA made, always made me wonder why?

I know the G-10 and bone handle 300 series were/are a Walmart exclusive.

I've seen some on line with all sorts of good looking handles and always wondered why Buck dosn't use some on their USA slip joints ?

Mine looked and feels great except for the proud bottom pins and a gritty spey blade.
