In 2014 I'm gonna buy my 1st serious military fixed blade combat knife, so I got my eyes on a few knives here:
1. Ka-Bar US Army full size (without serrations);
2. Gerber LMF II Infantry (black);
3. Gerber Prodigy or Gerber Prodigy Tanto;
4. Bark River Bravo 1;
5. Gerber Silver Trident (double serrations);
6. Gerber Mark II;
7. Ka-Bar Becker Bk7;
8. Linder Solingen Fairbairn-Sykes commando dagger;
9. ESEE/RAT CUTLERY 5/RC5;
10. ZT 0160 black or 0170;
11.SOG Seal Pup Elite (black, preferrably without serrations);
12. Eickhorn Solingen Km 4000;

Any advice which one should I get first (I'm from a foreign country so less known models or brands might be difficult to order for me), thank you and happy holidays :)

Of those, the BK7 is the best, but overall the Benchmade Nimravus has the best quality!

What is your level of training with knife fighting techniques?

ok, since there are no more suggestions, i'll try for the Nimravus, and if it's not avaible on special order in my country, the Bk7 definetly is :), thanks ppl!

Esee6 is a great knife had mine for a couple years never failed or chipped all so have an esee 4 both wonderful knifes own a kabar and esee beat it hands down own

I believe the BK7 to be a very very good knife. A great design, well-made, with a good warranty.
