The Endura is a nice compromise all around and a great knife as well.

I couldn't decide between a Delica and a Mini Grip, ended up getting both and the flood gates opened.

You are really set as far as seriously practical pocket knives.
Just think of the pair as your answer to a two blade slip joint. One for hard use; one for keeping very sharp.
Doesn't mean you can't flirt with the dark side now and again.
