Im looking for something either as a camp/bushcraft knife or a chopper/wood processor NOT a machete. So any blade over 14'' nope sorry. Under 100 plz but i doubt theres many if at all any condors above 100.

I have been on a Condor streak lately! I started with the Bushlore and loved it. I just picked up a Stratos and I'm really impressed, check out that chunky little beastie! 5inch scandi blade with a 5 1/2 inch really simple comfy long handle.

Moonshiner.....simply the best blade Condor makes.... start at the top and work your way down I'd say LOL

Get a Moonshiner for a large camp chopper/baton knife and a Bushlore to handle the small fine carving tasks and you'll have a 2 knife rig that'll do ANY bushcraft related task and still clock in at under 100.00 for the pair counting shipping from most places.

It's a hell of a good start.

The HD Kukri really requires heavy regrinding for it to cut well. A nice tool once tuned up, but not very effective until that's done. The Village Parang is another nice option, and in a slightly more compact model the Hudson Bay is nice as well.

Couldn't agree more. I was BLOWN AWAY when I used the moonshiner for the first time. What an amazing value. Chops really well, fine carves really well, very ergonomic handle, awesome sheath?!?! What more do I have to say.
And if you're interested, I did a review on it: https://youtu.be/KGG9pIvasBA

For general all-round camp use, I like the looks of the Kephart and Nessmuk blades.

The Moonshiner is on my buy list. Based on my handling it, I think it would make a good general camp knife. It would not likely be my choice for a trail knife.

The Hudson Bay is another one that would serve nicely. It was one of my early Condors.

The Bushlore is a good general use knife in the woods. I like it better than the Kephart and some of the smaller Condors. I'd rather use a SAK than the Kephart unless I'm cutting a steak. The Kephart feels like a steak knife to me. I also can never seem to get the thing as sharp as I like for some reason.

If your "camp knife" is mostly for chopping, I think the Village Parang or Pack Golok are good choices.

I have received a Condor Stratos one week ago. And I have to agree fully with Steely Dan....
I am impressed with the Stratos. It is simple, strong, efficient, practical, functional, real tool....
The long handle is fully ergonomic, the blade is cutting efficiently... (yes IT IS SHARP out of the box.... a factor which is not being met frequently, even in much more expensive knives).
Ready for every kind of duties in the forest, in the camp...
What else have I to ask from a knife ?
And all these attributes for just 38 USD.
I have forgotten the beautiful leather sheath....
Bravo Condor Tools and Knives....

Big fan of the Stratos for light chopping and heavier tasks. Has a nice heft to it. I removed the grey surface on the blade and soaked in vinegar for an hour for a patina. Fun project!

There are quite a few 7-12 inch bladed condor knives. Go to a major online knife store and narrow your search to that length of blade. Ontario also has some fantastic choice, they have good full flat grinds as well. Ontario RTAK II, Rat 7, RD7. The RTAKII is great!

Condor CTK235-9HC, looks good, Hudson Bay camp knife, etc.

Condor Kephart. $30 - $35 delivered to your home from that ubiquitous big box store.

Iconic all around great multipurpose design for camping. Horace Kephart knew what he was doing.

100% agreed. My Moonshiner is my favorite large blade. I've put that thing through its paces more times than I can count. I love that darned knife. I was actually just admiring it earlier today. Scarred, scratched, and chugging along like nobody's business.
Oh, and it gets freakishly sharp if you want.. Once sliced off the tip of my ring finger with it... ouch.

Yeah. The Moonshiner is a very cool knife. I picked up one last year at the Blade Show along with a few others. Doesn't see much use which is typical of most of my choppers. But it still "Wow's me".
