First Connecticut pattern

Sweet Conn, Matt. No way the Kelly Michigan could match it. You might as well send the Michigan my way. :D

There must be something about the phase the moon is in, because I got bit on Tuesday. It was an old Warren DB that got me.......

You're not a tool guy unless you sport bandages at least a couple times a month. Comes with the territory.

Profile pics, as promised.

Absolutely beautiful as always Matt. You make it hard not to covet.

We both have to heal because we will not stop playing with sharp things.

You really have the hang of hanging... :) and out of curiosity, where did you get that handle? Looks like a nice one.

Bear, not sure if I can say this, but check the 'bay Monday for a poor imitation of M3mphis's restoration job.

The handle came with the axe. I love it! The funny thing is that I thought it was already hung, but the handle was just jammed about halfway in and that's it.

The wood is a little different than I'm used to. I'm kinda wondering if it's ash...is there a good way to tell? I've never seen an ash axe handle here.

Worked on this one tonight. Its my first Connecticut pattern, and I'm pumped about it. I'm not pumped about the fingertip chunk that it took off. I hate debating whether or not to go for stitches. i elected not to this time. Bled like a stuck pig.

Take care,

Matt

Sweet> Welcome to wonderful world of Connecticuts. I have 4 now. I just picked up a Mann Quickcut axe for $9.

I finally took my Collins Legitimus Connecticut for a test drive tonight. It was spruce but it kicked a**. Big chips.

Doesn't look the same model as yours Memphis.
