First CRK, Need help deciding between...

I have had two smalls in as many years..Both were sold off as they never got any pocket time. Large hands..the small just didn't seem to fit me very well.
Over the past several years, I have been questioned at work. My regular carry used to be an Umnumzaan..after receiving several comments on it, I ordered a large micarta Insingo.
The comments all but stopped because the blade shape wasn't near as intimidating. Great knife..but, it's just not suited to the tasks I ask of it.. After having a conversation with an HR rep, I made the decision to get a bit more aggressive blade in the large Sebenza 25. The fact of the matter is, I am surrounded by tools that could potentially be more devastating than a pocketknife..(machinist) and the Sebenza is just another tool in my collection of tools to compliment my job.

Cubicle dwellers LOL

Lol, I happen to be in the same profession. Definitely a lot more dangerous tools around the shop than a knife.

One of my favorite things about the Large Sebbie is how well it carries and how hand friendly it is for its size. Even if you didn't generally prefer larger knives I'd say you'd find the Large Sebbie to your liking... but since you do like larger knives then yes, definitely get the Large! :) Now, clip point, Insingo or Tanto??? LOL

I had a large, my first crk and wasn't a fan of how large it was so I sold it and bought a small! I love the small, I have large hands, but for some reason I have always liked knives with 3' blades or slightly larger

She is a beauty! May she serve you well.

And welcome to the family (Addiction)

I've had quite a few of each size of Sebenza, but only the large works in my large hand. I need a grip-length of at least four inches in a knife, and the small falls quite a bit short of that.
I can hold a small okay, but when you want to close the blade, you have to slide your hand back a bit in order to get your thumb onto the lock-bar. And when I do that with a small, it tries to fall out of the front of my hand. So, yes, I carry a large Sebbie or a Zaan.
